Conversations for Change facilitates police / community dialogue. The Pilot round of Conversations in the South Bronx concluded March 12, 2009. Community-Wide South-Bronx Conversations are scheduled to launch October/November 2009.
Faith Leaders Environmental Justice engages more than 100 faith leaders, advocates, and government representatives from all five boroughs of New York City in collaborative efforts to address crucial environmental justice issues such as food justice, energy consumption, and climate justice. NY Faith & Justice partners with We Act for Environmental Justice to Co-chair this collaborative effort.
The Call It Out | Vote It Out | Live It Out campaign is a church-based voter registration drive and pledge-card campaign to make poverty a central issue that our elected officials must face. This year’s campaign culminated April 26-29 in Washington D.C. at Sojourners Mobilization to End Poverty.
